1. What Curriculum does the School Follow?

The school follows CBSE Curriculum and is affiliated to CBSE. (Aff No. 3630156)

2. What are the School timings?

The School timings for Nursery to X is 8.25 AM to 3.00 PM. However, it is optional for Nursery students to leave post Lunch by 12:50 pm.

3. Does the School follow any Blended Learning Strategies?

Yes.  School is in the process of immersion in to Blended Learning system through Online Classes as and when required, Flipped Classroom techniques and Asynchronous tasks wherever needed. The Google Classrooms/ Schoology Platform are extensive part of Communication and sharing of content during the teaching learning process

4. Does the School work on Saturdays too for the students?

School Functions @ 5 days a week for classes Nursery to IV and Grade V- X would however have offline classes as usual on 1^st, 3^rd and 5^th Saturdays from 8.15am -3.00 pm 

 Second and Fourth Saturday’s are holidays for students.

5. How do we know about the major activities of the School?

The annual calendar giving complete information of activities, events, celebration, holidays, parent teacher meeting schedule, Assessment dates will be communicated through the student’s almanac in Schoology and in school app.

6. How is the 2^nd Language and 3^rd Language Policy at Unicent?

The second language option for Hindi/Telugu commences in class UKG and third language is to be opted from classes I to X only. No change would be allowed thereafter under any circumstances.

7. Are the students involved in any stem activities?

 Students are engaged in STEM activities through involving them in hands-on activities conducted in collaboration with YARDSTICK and COGNOSPACE.

8. Are the students taken on Field trips and out station visits?

Yes, Two Field trips are planned during the academic year, twice, One would be organized by the School catering to academic objectives, while another would be planned to entertainment oriented places/Outstation bound visit for Grades above 5 on Optional paid basis.

11. What are the CLUBS at School : 

At Unicent Kompally, the students of HS get the opportunity, to be part of varied clubs like: Literary Club, Environmental Club, SIC Club, History Club

  How often are the PTMs held at School?

Parent Teacher meetings (PTM) are held regularly at least 4 times through the academic year. In the absence of PTM, the marks are anyway uploaded to the School App, which can be accessed by the parent using the login id  and Password provided.

12. Any specific initiative to inculcate reading habit among the students? 

In the process of improving the reading habit also enhancing the analytical and interpretational skills among the children, Brain feed monthly magazine and academic supplements which are class specific are being included for the benefit of the students of classes IV to X.

Class Libraries are encouraged. 

Library Reading is assessed on the basis of LEXILE Scores and children are further encouraged to read and up skill.

13. Does the School provide Lunch Facility?

Yes. Students can avail Lunch facility on optional basis. Wherein, the remittance can be made on monthly basis or daily basis.  A nutritious and Child centric menu is shared each month in advance through the School app, Parents can opt accordingly.

14. Does the School Provide Transport?

Yes, School transport is available for varied areas in the circumference of 10-15 kms, Air conditioned buses with GPS tracking and Lady Cleaners to support are facilitated for the Unicentians to commute.

15. Any other feature of Unicent that makes it Unique?

In pursuit of nurturing the Unicentians into Global Citizens, the School shares a platform with the Indian Education Society, Kuwait for a Learning exchange program. The School also, makes it a point to conduct Community Linked programs taking any one aspect from the SDG goals, sensitizing children to be responsible citizens of future.

16. What are the major modes of Communication? 

The school communicates with the parents majorly through the School App, SMS or phone calls apart from the daily update of Home works Projects etc through Schoology, a Unique International Portal. 

17. Is the fee once paid refundable?
    Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.

18. Can we avail any special discount on paying fee before time?

 If the full payment for the year is paid upfront by 20^th March, of each academic year, then a 5% discount is extended in Tuition Fee.

19. Does the School emphasizes on Career Orientation and Guest Sessions

Yes, at Unicent the Students get wide exposure to Careers in varied field through interactive sessions with people from multiple lines of Professions careers at different Grade levels, apart from topic relevant Guest Sessions. This is also at platform for the Parents to Partner in nurturing the children with growing enthusiasm
