The students are encouraged at different class levels to choose among these hobbies and explore their abilities. This also gives a fair idea for the parent as to what line to choose for the child.

Employability is one of the major focuses of NEP 2020, which recognizes the role of Education in providing students with the right skill sets. This is the path being set in line with its 2030 AGENDA of Sustainable Development. CBSE extensively emphasizes Multidisciplinary curriculum and approaches that can ensure Holistic Development of the Child.

At UNICENT, the students are exposed to skills like Gardening, Culinary, Financial Literacy,  Coding, Design thinking ,Herbal products and Travel & Tourism which are in line with the National Education Policy 2020 . The children are exposed to these Skill subjects at varied levels from Grade 6-10. Nurturing their potential in these skills motivates the students to do much better and gives energy, joy and a sense of purpose. Also, their life skills, soft skills nourishment happens through different platforms in the process of teaching- learning and through the Guest sessions, interactive programs, debates, discussions and symposiums.

On the other side of the coin these skills boost the happiness of accomplishing a new learning curve in parallel to their mainstream!!
