Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.
Our school has indeed kept this spirit alive in the form of celebrations in the campus on 24th of December 2019. A special assembly was organized by Subhash Chandra Bose house. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red and white colours.
There was an array of programs, where the Christmas fervor truly depicted. The programmes included melodious carols in Telugu and English, followed by a skit which certainly made everyone spellbound as the little kids of 3rd standard left no stone unturned to merrily perform their roles.
Our 4th, 5th & 6th graders danced to the most joyful tunes of ‘Jingle Bell’. The Santa’s entry too added to their excitement. The delight was uncontained as our students danced merrily to the Santa’s tunes.
The significance of Christmas was shared by students of 9th, letting our kids notice the value of Christmas as a festival. Our principal madam’s speech about humility and kindness was thought provoking to our kids.
It was indeed true that the warmth of Christmas was felt from the heart and actions just proved it right. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. Click here to view the pics
