Parting Ways, Preserving Bonds: A Heartfelt Tribute Wishing Good luck to Departing Friends
It is that time of the year when our seniors wave a goodbye to the school. From having a fun and educational time in school, to attempting the ultimate Board exams. Certainly a big deal to any 10th grader. Unicent School, Nagole arranged a one-of-a-kind Blessing ceremony, a tradition that has been followed for ages. It is a very unique formality of the school, where the teachers offer their blessings to the students. Fluttering rose petals, bright candles and an exhilarating environment are a few things that are of importance. Teachers are our guides, no doubt ; but one must travel the road of life on their own.
Students also ignite a fire within their hearts; fire of passion and motivation, as they head to a more significant part of their lives. The event was also packed with wise words and inspirational speeches of the dignitaries, who talked about the qualities a student should have (which have been taken from traditional Sanskrit learnings). These words of wisdom truly hold a position in the minds of students, and prepare them for what’s about to come. The Blessing Ceremony is truly an impactful practice.
Followed by a Farewell party, hosted by the 9th graders to their seniors, the day had been a remarkable one. Filled with aspects of melodious tunes and rhythmic dances, the event was a source of entertainment and fun to everyone. And, to tie it all together, students shared their memories and gave a heartfelt speech showing gratitude to the school. Although, this seems like a goodbye for the school and the students, it is in-fact, a bright new beginning for the students towards the path of life.
