Weight is not just a number, but a mystery to be unlocked.To introduce the concept of “Measurement of Weight” students of grade 2 had done an activity.They were provided a few things like groceries, fruits, vegetables to compare and find the weight with various combinations to understand the concept of measuring weight with standard and non-standard units. They used simple balance with different weights and kitchen scales to measure the accurate weight of the items given by the teacher. Finally, students were able to measure and differentiate the weight of different items in Standard and Non-Standard units with hands-on experience.
