Theorems and properties seem to be confusing for most of the students, visualization of such concepts helped students to learn the properties and theorems easily. ‘ Properties of Circles’ activity was conducted as a part of Math SEA, from the chapter ‘ Circles.’ for Class-X. Students used geoboards to represent the properties such as angles in the same segment are equal, angle formed in the semi – circle is a right angle, the length of the tangent from the external point are equal. Students worked in pairs and orally stated the property. This activity helped students to visualize the concepts and apply it in solving exercise problems easily.
