In line with countrywide celebrations to commemorate the birth anniversary of
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, students and staff of Unicent School, Nagole, celebrated RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS on October 31st with great zeal and enthusiasm. During the special assembly presentation, students spoke about various contributions and role of India’s Iron man in the political integration of the country. This was followed by students taking the Rashtriya Ekta pledge to uphold the unity and integrity of India.
“There is beauty and power in unity”. India is a land of unity and diversity, so we need to stand united always. To explain this a religious meet was organized in the assembly where the teachers from the four main religions came forward and recited verses, slokas from the Holy books like The Bhagavad Gita, The Quran, The Bible and The Granth Sahib. .Later, all the students marched in an orderly manner, as a part of Unity Run. It concluded with the students rendering the National Anthem which filled the air with the spirit of nationalism.
