“Competence is a great creator of confidence”.
Unicent School, conducted various competitions under the banner of
Inter-House Competitions in an attempt to foster 21st century skills,
and develop strategies on a global perspective laid under with India’s
G20 goals.
Poem Recitation:Grade 7 students presented Poem Recitation on “Health in
India” which enriched and brought out the sense of literature in them
. The props used made their presentation more captivating.
Recitation: Grade 8: students explored the topic ‘ Agriculture in India ‘ and came up with
the best possible ways to give a unique and precise articulation in
form of Elocution.
Declamation: Class 9 students had declamation , impersonating
one’s elocution , on ‘Sustainable Development Goals’.
Debate: students of grade 10 , competed in a debate on- ‘Millennium
Development Goals” and gave a lot of valuable points for and against
the topic. Students participated with great zeal and also built
confidence in terms of pronunciation, delivery, and voice modulation.
Story Telling Competition: Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence of children. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted for Grades 6 to 10 on the topic- Vision of 2047.
