Our Curriculum

While placing strong emphasis on core subjects such as Science, Mathematics, English, and the Arts, equal importance is given to co-curricular activities that help impart essential life skills. The curriculum at Unicent is designed with flexibility in the presentation of subject matter to sustain each child’s interest.

Pre-Primary Curriculum

Pre-Primary Curriculum

At Unicent, we recognize the importance of the early years in a child’s life. Therefore, pre-primary education at UNICENT is viewed as an extension of the home, with the pre-primary teacher serving as a substitute mother. A strong foundation is laid during these formative years, providing an enriched environment that stimulates intellectual curiosity, helps children appreciate the world around them, and fosters new interests through varied opportunities.

The pre-primary curriculum at UNICENT is based on the Principles of Early Childhood Education, creating a platform for children to explore, investigate, and experiment. It paves the way for the development of the following essential skills:

Primary, Middle School & High School Curriculum

At Unicent, we recognize that children from the Primary to High School levels are in a phase of integration, both in terms of their individual development and their place within the social context. Each child at this stage is an individual with unique abilities, interests, needs, aspirations, and expectations. Their physical and cognitive growth during this period is steady and progressive.

The Primary and Middle School education at UNICENT lays a strong foundation for fostering enthusiasm for learning, building competence, and nurturing self-esteem.

The Primary, Middle, and High School curriculum at UNICENT is based on the “Principles of Constructivism,” a holistic approach to teaching and learning.
