Unicent School Nagole conducted a workshop on enhancing public speaking skills for the students of grade VI .The workshop was for two days .The session on the first day began with ice breaking activity.Introduce yourself with a positive adjective. Later they were introduced to five steps in Public Speaking.1.Purpose 2.Objective 3.Audience 4.Language & 5. Effect and 3Ps ( Preparation,Practice ,Presentation).Just A Minute activity was also conducted. In addition to this ,each student was given a topic for the next day presentation.On the second day ,students were apprised to the acronym BRIEF ( B- Believe,R- Rehearse ,I – Interesting ,E- Edit ,F – Fun/humor) They were also told the importance of body language ,tone and eye contact in the presentation. Each student spoke about the topic given to them.Peer Assessment was done based on rubrics shared with the students. The session was very interactive .
