Honouring and Hailing the Constitution – Constitution Day at Unicent School, Nagole
“Our constitution is a ray of hope: H for harmony, O for Opportunity, P for people’s
participation and E for equality”.
This quote would ring true in every Indian heart and soul. 26 th November is celebrated as the
Constitution Day nationwide as this was the day the Constituent adopted the honoured constitution
in 1949 as it is now followed, with few amendments to symbolize the growth of India on a whole as
a society as well. Our constitution doesn’t just entail our vast array of rights as citizens, but also our
certain duties for this prized and deserving nation.
Unicent school Nagole celebrated this venerable day with its senior-most classes at the helm,
reciting the preamble of the constitution of India. The day’s activities then proceeded to conducting
a trivial quiz about many important and wonderful facts about the Indian constitution.
The students took away vital lessons from these activities, which included pride and wonder about
the benevolence of the nation, Most of all the values which were then written down have to be
taken by today’s generation for the future of a better and brighter India.
