Unicent School, Nagole observed 31st October as National Unity day to commemorate the birth
anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel , the Iron Man of India . Students of grade 8A organized a
special morning assembly with prayer and a zealous pledge of national unity and solidarity
towards their nation. After the regular assembly proceedings, Ms.Aruna delivered an enlightened
speech about the role of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in national integration that helped the students
know the importance of unity and that they should start working together as citizens of the country.
She mentioned the quotation “United we stand, divided we fall” – which strengthened the thoughts
of the students about Unity. To mark the occasion in a befitting manner with great enthusiasm, we
took a ‘Unity Run’. We came to know the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel facilitated by
watching the digital exhibition titled ‘Sardar Patel – The Architect of Unification’.
