Janmashtami celebrations by Pre-Primary and classes I and VI

Celebrating events and festivals in our school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny tots of pre-primary and classes 1 and 6. The children came dressed up as lord krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers, and matkas, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling with air with joy and festive spirit. An awareness of Janmashtami, the mythological stories of Krishna, Radha, and Kansh-through movies and narrations was presented to the children.
