The field trip to CCMB as a part of project work on the theme-Empower to Acclimatize was an interesting one where the students of grade 8 were taught about the cell. This trip was mainly focused on the information about the cell, how it works, and showed us how normal looking things looked under microscopes. It was amazing to see how the things under the microscope look totally different. The students were enthusiastic during the session where a senior scientist named Mrs Pavithra, explained to us in detail about the cell, the history of the microscope and its types and about cancer cell two. Overall, not only the students but all the teachers found this field trip very entertaining and interesting. It ended with everyone having some juice and cookies.
