The forthcoming New Telugu year ‘Shubakruthi’ was celebrated with traditional fervour at Unicent on Friday. As part of celebrations, ‘Ugadi Pachhadi’ an amalgamation of six different flavours representing different components of life, was made in the classes and distributed to the children. The school was adorned with mango leaves and flowers in a traditional Indian style. Teachers discussed the Telugu traditions and importance of Ugadi festival. Extending the festival greetings, all the teachers wished children.
