National Science Day celebrations at Unicent School-Nagole

“In the history of science, we often find that the study of some natural phenomenon has been the starting point in the development of a new branch of knowledge.” – C. V. Raman
National Science Day is celebrated every year to ark the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by the renowned Indian physicist Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman. The students of Unicent School, Nagole, celebrated this occasion with a display of fun experiments in the morning assembly. Following the assembly proceedings, students of class 10 presented a few simple experiments which were entertaining to watch and they also had an intriguing relation to sciences that we see in our everyday life. Moreover, a few students put up a small show of stand-up comedy to empathize how the subject of science could be viewed even in a comedic way. All in all, it was an enjoyable and exciting observance of this auspicious day.
