Unicent school Nagole celebrated the “MatruBhasha Divas” on 21st February 2022.UNESCO declared 21st February as International “Matru Bhasha Diwas” to celebrate the importance of one’s native language. In our country, we have people from various states with varied traditions and languages. Unicent conducted a special event honouring different languages. The event began with the regular assembly proceedings with many items presented by both the teachers and students. The event was a representation of many languages. There were speeches given by teachers and students in languages like Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi. They expressed their gratitude towards their own language through the speeches and the melodious songs sung by them. After the chain of programs, the choir group and the teachers sang the prayer song followed by a message rendered by our honourable Principal mam regarding the Matru Bhasha Diwas with which the successful event came to an end. Everyone gained a lot of insight into the origin and development of different languages and their importance.
