On the occasion of ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)’ is observed every year on 31st October to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary. It not only commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of the national integration of independent India but also re-affirms the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand threats to the unity, integrity, and security of the country. In view of the ongoing initiative of the Government of India for celebrating 75 years of India’s independence under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, National Unity Day this year will follow the same theme.
