School is the right place for chiseling the life skills of students to make them future-ready. Unicent school, Nagole conducted workshops for three days covering varied topics which would help them in the development and implementation of life skills. The session on ‘Health and Nutrition’ was spearheaded by our Principal, Mrs.Rachna Bhattacharjee. Workshop on ‘Presentation skills ‘ was given by Mrs.Annapurna, Academic Coordinator for Unicent branch of schools. ‘Social media and mental health’ and also the topic ‘Setting boundaries free you’ were headed by our counselor, Mrs. Laxmi. Mrs.Lalitha Naidu, Principal, Rockwood School, gave an inspirational session to our students on the topic ‘leadership qualities.’ The workshop on ‘Career Opportunities’ given by MR Srinivas Rao Peddi, a certified financial Planner, was an illuminating session for our students. Our students were also addressed by parents of our school students who have been successful professionals. Ms.Janice Verghese, a techno lawyer with a specialization in Cyber Law conducted a session on the topic-Basics of Online safety which was an enriching session for the students as well as parents alike.
