Special Assembly on Hindi Divas by Class X -2021

“जिस देश को अपनी भाषा और साहित्य पर गर्व नहीं है, वह कभी भी आगे नहीं बढ़ सकता।”- डॉ राजेन्द्र प्रसाद
This quote is absolutely true. Hindi is one of our most significant assets. But, it has been neglected by people since the Britishers came to India. However, in recent days, Hindi has gained immense respect and it is the official language of India with Devanagari script. To commemorate the language, every year Hindi Divas is celebrated on 14th September.
In our school assembly, Hindi Divas was celebrated with great zeal and fervour. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Hindi Divas was celebrated virtually. Even though we only celebrated it online, the joyous atmosphere and pride in our Language remained unchanged. On this important day, we had a variety of programmes. First, we had a prayer song sung by class X students, which was very melodic. The pledge came next, and then we learned a new idiom, along with its meaning and sentence. We also learned a new concept for the day with its speciality to bring in happy vibes. In the form of news, we also learned about what’s going on in and across the world.
As a part of Hindi Divas celebration, we also had a few extremely funny jokes shared by a few pupils from class X. Second, we had a Rahim Ke Dohe couplet recital. Following that, there was a captivating roleplay about the importance of Hindi, as well as a few slogans about the same subject. Last but not the least, we had a Hindi Divas speech. A ninth-grade student gave a Vote of Thanks at the end of the day.
