Running for a role in a student council is one of the best extracurricular activities a
student can take while at school. It shows that they are responsible enough to take
on decision-making roles, and that they are influential amongst their peers.
In Unicent, the nominees for the student council were nominated by the teachers.
The nominees were selected based on their certain criteria like responsibility,
behaviour, communication and participation in various activities. The nominees have
been campaigning by going to the various classes and explained to their peers about
what changes they would bring if they are elected.
