India is a land of rich culture and it is our responsibility to share the beauty of this culture
with the children. Festivals and stories are the best way to make the children respect,
understand, and appreciate cultural differences.
Keeping up to this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated on 23 rd Sept. A cultural
event was organised with various activities like songs, dances and speeches were conducted
in which the kids participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Keeping the festive spirit alive,
the kids of grade 1 and 2 presented a mini-Ramayana for the kids which conveyed the
message that good always triumphs over evil. A dance performance was given by the kids
on Nava Durga which also depicted Mahishashura Mardini.
All the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the celebration. Thus, the
celebration not only enriched their learning but also made it memorable which will be
cherished for a long time.
